Find out how we can help you!
We know your story is unique. That’s why Rewrite offers personalized support, tailored to your life, your brain, and your goals. Whether you’ve had bariatric surgery, are using GLP-1s like Ozempic or Mounjaro, or you’re just ready to heal your relationship with food for good — we meet you where you are and walk with you from there.
Navigating cravings
Rebuilding your relationship with food
Rewiring habits that don’t serve you
Staying consistent for the long haul
Our program isn’t just about what to eat, it’s about how to think. Your biggest obstacle is you. Yes, we’ll talk about why your metabolism and brain are wired the way they are when it comes to food. But mainly, we need to rewrite how you handle your feelings.
Having a bad day at work? A tub of ice cream isn’t going to fix it. You’ll have breakups, arguments, heartbreaks—but you’re going to stop eating your way through it.
How? Our team are going to teach you how to feel, how to cry, how to scream, and how to sit with your thoughts without food. And then, you’ll learn how to move the hell on.
The person you want to become doesn’t magically appear at your goal weight. They starts showing up now. We’ll create the healthy you together. And if you have to fake it until you make it—do it. That’s exactly what we did.
Our Coaching Focuses On:
Food addiction & emotional eating recovery
We help you understand the “why” behind the cravings — and teach you how to manage them without willpower or shame.
Post-op habit building
Surgery changed your stomach — but not your patterns. We help you build new routines that actually stick.
Mindset, motivation & consistency
Because motivation fades. Habits and support don’t.
Simple nutrition & real food choices
No counting points or weighing lettuce. We help you eat in a way that works for your body and brain.
Accountability, structure & connection
You don’t have to do this alone. Rewrite is a space where you’re seen, heard, and supported — every step of the way.
We’ve got a powerhouse team of coaches dedicated to helping you crush your goals and create the badass life you deserve. While you’ll always have Shenelle as your main contact throughout the program, we’re here to support you in ways that are unique to each of us.
Hey, I’m Shenelle. I topped the scales at 298 pounds before I took the plunge and got the sleeve in April 2022. Little did I know that decision would light a fire under me—not just to get my physical health on track, but to face the mental side of things too, especially as a food addict. Oh, and did I mention I’m a recovered alcoholic and drug addict? It took me decades to figure out that I was eating the same way I used to drink—recklessly, with no caution to the wind.
I’ve also realized that the Western diet? Yeah, it’s not made for people like me. It’s a toxic minefield of bad habits waiting to happen. That’s why I’m here—to help you navigate this messy world without falling into the same traps. And let’s be clear: I don’t sugarcoat things. Ever. I’m always going to be honest and straightforward with you, because that’s what you deserve.
It’s a blessing to help as many people as we do, and I’ll show up for you in ways you might not be able to show up for yourself just yet. Together, we’ll kick the old habits to the curb and build something real.
Hey, I’m Danaye, and let's just say I spent most of my life as the “before” picture. But in 2023, I decided I was done with that storyline. On April 27th, I made my way to EOC and got myself a brand-new VSG (Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy, if you're fancy with it). Highest weight? 317 pounds. Surgery weight? 240 pounds. Current weight? A cool 149. Yeah, I’m feeling pretty unstoppable.
As if that wasn’t enough, I figured, “Why not start running too?” So in March 2023, I laced up my shoes and hit the pavement. Now, I’ve got a few half marathons under my belt and am training for my second full marathon. Apparently, I really like to run—who knew?
By day, I’m an EMT-IV Tech, saving lives, but I’ve found a whole new level of joy in helping others crush their bariatric and fitness goals. Whether it's losing weight or making running a thing (trust me, if I can do it, so can you), I’m here to help you kick those goals in the teeth and get moving.
Hey, I’m Nicole. My journey started at 317 pounds, and it wasn’t until I faced a few harsh realities that I realized something had to change. As someone who works in hospice, I saw people leaving this world every day, and after a hard loss in my family, I tried to get life insurance. When I was denied due to my "build," it hit me hard just how unhealthy I was and how at risk I had become with all the co-morbidities I was facing. The thought of leaving my kids because of the choices I was making scared me to my core.
That’s when I realized—I had a food addiction. Joining this community helped me finally see that, and it was comforting to know that others understood me. Now, I’m on the other side, helping people like you realize your worth, break free from unhealthy patterns, and start living the life you deserve.
Hey, I’m Helen — so glad you’re here! I hold an advanced diploma in Health and Social Welfare and I’m currently training as a bariatric and life coach with The Coaching Academy UK.
I spent years working in health and social care while juggling life as a wife and mom. Like many of us, I turned to food to cope with stress and emotions, battling my weight and food addiction for most of my life. By 2019, approaching 40, I knew something had to change and decided on weight loss surgery — but delays and setbacks meant I didn’t take action until 2023, when I found Rewrite and met Shenelle.
With her support, I faced my food addiction, broke free from trigger foods, and finally took control. In June 2024, I had gastric sleeve surgery in Turkey — and now, over seven stone down, I’m the healthiest I’ve ever been. This journey isn’t just about weight loss. It’s about mindset, healing, and finally living fully. I’m here to help you do the same.
Hey, I’m Evie — mental health advocate and co-chair of Rewrite UK. At 38, I’m finally healthy, happy, and confident — living proof that it’s never too late to rewrite your story.
I spent years stuck in the cycle of bingeing, dieting, and self-sabotage. I had a gastric band in 2011, but without the right support, old habits came back. After complications, I had a gastric bypass in 2023 — and this time, I was ready to do the real work. Rewrite gave me the mindset, tools, and community I never had before. I broke free from diet culture, healed my relationship with food, and lost the weight — for good. Today, I’m maintaining a healthy 8.5 stone and loving the skin I’m in.
As a mom living with ADHD, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, and a history of food addiction, I know how tough it is to juggle mental health, chronic illness, and family life. I’m a qualified Mental Health First Aider and passionate about science-backed wellness, emotional healing, and building a life that actually works.
Rewrite isn’t just about weight loss — it’s about freedom. And I’m here to walk that path with you.
At my heaviest, I weighed 304 lbs. I was battling PCOS, infertility, and creeping into diabetes. I felt like I was constantly fighting my body and losing. After being told that medication and weight loss shots were my “last resort,” I decided to take a different path. I said bet, and found a bariatric surgeon to have a real conversation about my future.
I’m now five months post-op, off all of my medications and down 85 lbs, not just because of surgery, but because I fully embraced the Rewrite lifestyle before I ever stepped into an operating room. This approach changed everything for me.
With 14 years of experience as a licensed physical therapist assistant in acute care, I’ve worked closely with nurses and medical teams, so I deeply understand both the clinical side of weight loss and the emotional side no one talks about. Now, as the Client Success Specialist here at Rewrite, I’m usually the first person you’ll talk to when you’re curious about what we actually do inside our coaching programs.
My passion is helping people who are where I was, not just overwhelmed, but exhausted, and showing them that there is another way. I get it, because I’ve lived it. I can’t wait to connect with you and help you figure out your next step.
If you're wondering which coaching option is right for you, we offer a free 1-hour Zoom call with Shenelle or one of our coaches to talk things through and explore your next best step.
